Veggie Pilaf

Even though my dinner menu is western food like grilled fish with butter sauce, I choose rice for side dish because eating bread is something’s missing for the highlight of the day: Dinner Time!

This is my favorite pilaf recipe to accompany with my not-Asian-meal.

Super easy and quick method, and super delicious pilaf is definitely my best friend 😀




  • 1.5 cup of brown rice
  • 2 cups of water
  • ¼ of large zucchini
  • 4 tablespoon of canned corn
  • ¼ of large red paprika
  • ¼ of large onion
  • 3~5 mushroom
  • Some edamame
  • 1 cube of consomme stock
  • Some salt and pepper


  1. Chop veggies

  2. Combine rice and veggies in a pan
  3. Add seasoning and water
  4. Cook rice
    Turn on switch of rice cooker or…

    *I put edamame before turning on heat, but if you wanna keep vivid color of edamame, it is better for you to add them when setting up dish.

When you open the lid of pan, you’re like opening jewel box!
