Okra Pasta with Dashi&Butter Sauce

Tanooki’s current local area started to be chill already.

Surprisingly, August is already half past, so I can feel fall is right there.

But! Still okra is in season so I created another pasta by using okra.

A small amount of butter and white dashi combination is innovative taste, and it catches and holds your desire to experience the new world of taste!

  • About 10 okra
  • About 3-4 radish
  • About 20 perilla leaves

  • ½ cup of white dashi
  • 1 cup of water
  • Some black pepper
  • some thai pepper
  • ½ tablespoon of butter
  • 1 tablespoon of potato starch
  • 1 tablespoon of water

  • Some roasted seaweed

  1. Cook pasta/okra in the same pan.

  2. Slice/chop veggies veggies

  3. Cut okra

  4. Make sauce
Combine all ingredients of sauce and bring it to boil. Add water and potato starch to make the sauce thick.

  5. Set out dish

Nom, nom, nom…

woo delicious!
