Deep fried juicy croquette cooking hack!
I don’t want to shape potatoes round and then deep fry them, so I just spread pan-fried panko crumbs to look like croquette 😛
You don’t have to make shape with hot mashed potatoes, and most importantly, you don’t need to warm up large amount of oil to deep fry.
Are you lazy person? Then you should try cooking my less oil potato croquette!
- 3 large russet potatoes
- ⅛ of large red onion
- ⅛ of large zucchini
- Some bunch of parsley
- Some canned kernel corn
- ¼ cup of soy milk
- Some salt and pepper to taste
- Some panko crumbs
- Some olive oil
- Some Okonomi Sauce
- Prepare ingredients
Slice potatoes, zucchini and chop parsley and onion.
Drain kernel corn
- Cook potatoes
In a medium pot, put potatoes and bring them to boil. When they are finely soft, drain and mash.
- Prepare panko crumbs
Bring your baking pan. Pour and spread panko crumbs to measure the amount of panko crumbs needed on your croquette.
- Pan fry panko crumbs
In a large pan, put panko and add some olive oil, and pan fry them with low heat.
When you see they are golden color, remove from heat and set aside.
- Grill veggies
In a large pan, put some olive oil and grill zucchini and red onion.
- Combine potatoes and veggies
Add salt and pepper, soy milk, and mix well
- Create croquette
Place potatoes in baking pan, and place panko crumbs.
Sprinkle some parsley.
Before eating it, pour some Okonomi Sauce on croquette.
